No new pictures today, but I have some memories I want to get down just as keepsakes.

Grey is seriously into Superman. He has a cape he runs around wearing, and when he runs, he always puts one arm out like Superman does when he flies. This weekend we watched Superman II and Grey has been acting out the movie. He gets one of his Superman action figures and makes him throw a car, and then catch it. He yells "Help Superman" and Grey thows the car and has Superman "catch" it. It's very cute. And really fun to watch his little mind work out the movie.

Another thing about Grey is his very active imagination. We go on elephant hunts, and tigers follow us around. Lately, he's had a dinosaur that follows us. The other night, Grey was in bed and started calling for me. I came in and he said "Dinosaur did it". I asked what the dinosaur did and he said "Dinosaur spanked my bottom". I have no idea what was going on in his mind, but I had to tell the dinosaur that it was Greys bedtime and Grey could not play, and could the dinosaur come back tomorrow for playtime. Very interesting stalling technique!

Grey is learning different ways to get around - run, march, that type of thing. His new favorite is to "boing". He wants to "boing" to bed, or to the potty chair, or to the table, or whatever. He hops up and down and says "boing". Another favorite is to roll. So, sometimes when it's time for bed he wants to roll to bed. That is a favorite, I think, because it takes longer to get to bed. He's a smart cookie!

Anyway, these are just a few of the new things Grey is doing to keep us entertained. He never fails to amaze us!

Long Time, No Blog

It's been a hectic month! Christmas has come and gone and we are finally getting back to normal. It has been a great Holiday Season this year and we've had so many highlights. First we went to Grapevine and did the North Pole Express. We had a blast and I would definitely recommend it. We did not realize it was so popular and we almost didn't get seats until the ticket lady saw Grey and what a cutie he is, and she ended up giving us FREE tickets! That made it even more fun! The historic downtown part of Grapevine is really cool. It was all decorated up and just so much fun to browse around. I want to move there and live in one of those big, old houses and pretend to be in a small town! Next we had a special visit from Santa. Grey got to have cookies and milk with a few friends. He was so excited. Santa left him a "Stocking Mail" letter saying he would come see him, and requested Grey have some cookies and milk ready. Grey had a few friends over and Santa came in. Wow!! What a night for Grey. He was totally into Santa this year, and that just put him over the top. It was a blast and I hope Santa puts us on his list for next year! We had Christmas at home this year and it was wonderful. Very relaxing. We didn't kill ourselves with a meal and made cheese enchiladas instead. We looked at Christmas lights and just had a wonderful day. New Years was also spent very low key at home and into bed early. We're getting to that boring stage where sleep is more exciting than fun! But, we did have a sad event happen. Billys grandfather passed away Dec 29. We went to Kansas for the funeral and back in a whirlwind trip. Grampa Holman will be greatly missed. Now we are back to life as normal! I will try to do more updates more often now that we are slowing down. Here are a few pictures of our Holiday Season.
