On Saturday we went over to some of Grey's favorite peoples house, "Uncle Sean and Aunt Dee". They had the hot tub all ready for Grey and tons of fun pool stuff for him. Grey had a blast! This kid is going to be a water baby!!!

Grey's 2nd Birthday -

Grey turned 2 on April 28th. We wanted to take him to the zoo, but the weather was not working in our favor for that. Instead we took him to Chuck E. Cheese and he had a blast! Then we came home and Grey got his special gift from us - the John Deer tractor. I'm not sure who was more excited, Grey or Daddy! It is taking Grey some time to figure it out, but he seems to enjoy it. Grey got a lot of other gifts that he loves, so despite the weather Grey had a great birthday!

Easter Weekend:

Grey had a blast this Easter. Last year, he didn't really get it, but he most certainly enjoyed the egg hunt this year. The Bunny brought Grey a really cute bucket with all sorts of Tonka Toys in it! Grey is ready to go now for a hard day at the construction site. He's got goggles, a hard hat and just about every tool you can imagine! Grey got to wear new Easter clothes to church and did fairly well in service and class. Then we came home, took naps, and started the egg hunt. It took a few minutes for Grey to warm up to getting the eggs, but once he realized they had candy in them he was off! Over all it was a fun filled weekend. We got a lot done and had a lot of fun!

Happy 40th Stace!!!

This weekend Grey got to spend some time with Mimi and Tacey. It was Taceys 40th Birthday and we had a surprise party (I think she really was surprised!). Grey loved getting to spend some extra time with some of his most favorite people and got spoiled rotten with attention! What more can a boy ask for? He also got his birthday presents early from Mimi and Tacey and Grey looks so cute in his new clothes!! Grey got to show off his new "Big Boy" bed and how grown-up his room looks, and got to show off his tricks on his new swingset. That boy sure knows how to entertain!!

This weekend we finally moved Grey into a big boy bed. Grey had figured out how to crawl out a while back, but he forgot about it for a while there. And then, the same week Billy went to London, and I was left with a boy who crawled out of bed repeatedly! It was lots of fun when the house alarm went off at 5:45 in the morning when Grey let himself out into the garage. Or at about 5:45 another morning when a little hand touched my face and said "Hi Mama, Hi". Then I made the mistake of seeing HOW Grey was climbing out of the crib - he just kinda army rolls over the top and by sheer luck lands on his feet. Or at least I think he lands on his feet - he never cried out or anything. Anyway, after seeing that, I decided Grey needed to be in a big boy bed. If we were going to fight the fight of getting out of bed, I'd like to do it with him several feet closer to the ground.
